Tony C. of Atlantic Beach Florida writes: One year after extensive renovations to my beach home I started having to replace my indoor recessed can lights. These were 60 watt GE bulbs supplied by the electricans. The home has 88 recessed cans in 10-12' ceilings. After getting a ladder to replace a seventh bulb I realized that on moving in one year ago I purchased 16 amber and 4 rose bulbs from BulbTown. I used these to replace exterior porch and lanai lights. Amazingly the front porch lights have been on continuously for that year exposed to salt air and wind blown rain with no failures. The amber bulbs also do not attract flying insects and add a soft hew to the exterior of the home. I spoke with Dave Tyson, owner of BulbTown who said he expects 10 X's more life from all his bulbs and they are less expensive. I'll be buying my remaining 68 bulbs from BulbTown.
Thanks Dave Tyson!
Thanks BulbTown!
Better Because:
BulbTown colored bulbs are commercial grade colored bulbs with heavy duty filaments less prone to burn-outs, and chrome or nickel plated bases (instead of aluminiun) to resist "freezing" in your light fixtures.

I just wanted to thank you for the yellow floodlights you recommended for my backyard. Now I can fire up the barbecue grill at night without fighting bugs like I did when I used white floodlights.
Thanks!
